WHEN PLACING AN ORDER:
Will my fish look like the fish in the pictures?
They may not look exactly like the pictures due to many different factors when it comes to fish, especially OBs and hybrid fish there is no two fish will look the exact same. Our photos will be the best looking dominant male to show the potential of size and color.
Please keep in mind that due to the stress of shipping, your fish may not display much color for a few days to a week while they acclimate to their new tank.
How do you sex your fish?
Anything labeled unsex are juveniles that are too young to be sexed. Once they hit 2 1/2-3 inches is about when they can be vented although they are not sexually mature. For example most African cichlid Males are more vibrant while females are more dull in color. If you need help sexing them please contact us.
Can I make changes to or cancel my order once submitted?
We understand life events and tank issues, and other scenarios may occur, that necessitate an order change or cancelation. Unnecessary movement of fish can cause stress on them, however orders canceled within 24 hours of shipping, will be subject to a 20% restocking fee calculated on the order total. Removal of item(s) from an order within 24 hours of shipping will be subject to the 20% restocking fee calculating based on price of the item removed.

whats the process after i place an order?
Upon order confirmation, you will receive an email with your order number and an overview of your order. From there, typically takes 3-5 days to process the order which also gives us time to monitor the fish for 48 hours before shipping to ensure they are happy and healthy along with clearing out their digestive track to help lower the chance of them diminishing the water quality during transit. Based on shipping live fish, all orders are subject to next day air or overnight shipping. once they depart our store , you will receive tracking information to inform you of delivery for the following buisness day
what days do you ship?
we only ship Monday - Wednesday to guarantee the package arrives properly and lowers chances of delays happening , If your order is placed Monday - Wednesday most orders will be shipped the next week. If your order is placed Thursday - Sunday most orders will ship the following week.
I live close , can i pick up my order?
yes, local pick up is available upon appointment only. Once order is reviewed, we will coordinate time and date for pick up. Due to being a small business out of a home, appointments and appointment times are very limited. please note we need 1-3 days to process your order before pickup is possible. please advise we are not open to the public so we are only available for appointments ONLY.
where do you ship your fish ?
we offer shipping to any resident or business address in the United States, and Puerto Rico.
Do i need to use next day air ?
In order to qualify for live arrival guarantee, all orders with live fish must be shipped via next day air. please contact us for further information.
